This website contains details of a collection of second-hand vinyl LPs of classical music issued from the early 1950s onwards.

The catalogue is divided into record labels, with the records listed in numerical sequence. I also have a small catalogue of Spoken Word LPs and of books related to music. The catalogues will be updated regularly.

To access the catalogues just click on one of the item of interest at the top of the page. Some of the larger catalogues are divided into separate sections.

I prefer not to use the recognised gradings for condition etc as in my experience, they are open to disagreement. Suffice to say that all the records in the catalogue are visually free from damage or contain only damage marks which do not sound, unless otherwise stated.

Many of the records, including all the older ones, have been cleaned on my Moth cleaning machine which is remarkable for eliminating surface noise from what are sometimes suspicious-looking marks. It should nevertheless be borne in mind that many of the records are 40-50 years old, and collectors should sometimes expect a certain amount of surface noise from even the cleanest-looking record. All covers are undamaged unless stated. I will refund your money or issue a credit note for any item you feel is unacceptable. Please note I use an invisible marker pen for record identification.

To order a record, click on “How to order” at the top of the page.

Prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are free from tax. Please note that the prices quoted are a reflection of supply and demand. If a record seems cheap, it is not a reflection of the condition of the record, but simply that the record is more common, or I have had it in stock for some time or I may have another copy.

Discounts are negotiable for large orders.

I hope you enjoy browsing through the catalogues. Any suggestions for improvement are welcome.

Please note this is a mail-order business and NOT a shop.

Regards, Ken Cole
